Back in November, I made a decision to participate in Project Make-a-Dent, the creation of Helen at Lola’s Secret Beauty Blog. Long story little I am new to actually caring for my body and am requiring some help. I used to cleansing and sometimes moisturize only. I am allergic to everything under sunlight from plants, animals, mold, dust, foods, and chemicals. I’ve had a pretty considerable allergy tests done at the doctor.

Tested “positive” for 60 of 60 “natural” things that trigger allergies (I reacted to all plants, pollen, pets, or animals, mildew). I reacted to the tape done for the chemical-type test, so that must be redone. I have not done the food allergy test yet. As far as chemicals go, I know for sure I am allergic to Stearyl Alcohol.

I also have decided to try to avoid Cetyl Alcohol thereby Cetearyl Alcohol (Cetyl and Stearyl alcohols merged). I have combination skin in conditions of both t-zone and seasonal combination, leaning towards dry up. I get very flaky skin area easily (it will peel off in patches or linens).
