Furthermore a visible advantage like the improvement of the natural vitality of the locks is important to achieve client satisfaction. To show the advantage of hair treatment with Abyssinian essential oil compared to organ essential oil, Elementis Specialties sponsored an independent study that was completed by TRI Princeton.

The testing was mainly performed on mixed race hair, which offers a mixture of characteristics of different ethnic hair types blended with African origin. Due to the ellipticity and high amount of curliness, locks of African or blended competition origin tends to be very sensitive against damage. Therefore, an improved hair quality in this type of hair can demonstrate the benefit of cure with Abyssinian and argan oil very efficiently. TRI Princeton conducted a dried-out combing test, a repeated grooming test and quantified the stand out of the hair.

The locks tresses were cleansed with anon-conditioning shampoo, dried immediately under controlled dampness (60%) and later on the natural oils were applied to the hair at a medication dosage of 0.5 mL per 3-gram hair tresses. Based on the results of three different test methods we can declare that Abyssinian oil offers the same benefits as organ essential oil in improving the manageability of the locks, enhancing the stand out and conditioning the locks fibers.
