The 2018 holidays are officially upon us within the United States, this means it’s time for my annual present giving guide. Every year whenever my spouse I used to panic, parents, and siblings asked me what I needed for Christmas. I had a need to give them a concept otherwise I’d finish up with an awful sweater or some random gadget I’d never use.

Over 700 reviews and a 5 star ranking, that’s impressive! The Martian by Andy Weir. If you only read one (fiction) reserve this season, The Martian needs to be the main one. I absolutely love this book (and it’s better still than the movie). As soon as I completed it the very first time, I immediately re-read it – something I’ve never done before. It’s about an astronaut (with a great love of life) who gets left behind on a mission to Mars and must figure out how to survive.
